Russia Invades Ukraine

I woke up this morning to the news that Vladimir Putin has taken Russia into war with the Ukraine.
Good analysis here: Why Putin's long-feared attack on Ukraine will rock America and the world.
In speaking with a friend of mine this morning, I remarked that unfortunately the world is full of leaders more like Neville Chamberlain than General Patton or Winston Churchill. Too much appeasement and not enough stomach or courage to use actual force to push this Russian bully back into his place.
Other people on social media have rightly seen the parallels of this invasion of Ukraine with that of Nazi Germany into the Sudetenland in 1938.
From what I can gather, Putin has set his sights on conquering Ukraine for a long time now, and at this point, it's going to be more than heartbreaking for the Ukrainian people.
I cannot understand how we can all just sit back and watch this unfold without coming to the aid of Ukraine in a real way - not just by throwing loan money at them - but by sending troops from all Western countries to force Russians back across the border. I realize they're not a NATO ally, but we must do something other than sit 'n watch what's going on there. It's not enough to strengthen the neighbouring NATO ally countries surrounding this region - we're essentially looking to enter into a 'quasi-war' with Russia through the Ukrainian military.
We should be bombarding Russia with social media streams of what Russia is actually doing to Ukrainians right now. I can only imagine the disinformation campaign Putin has put in place on his people.
If we do nothing to stop Putin and his aggression, he's going to take over the Ukraine with the help of his modern day Mussolini (Belarus), and set his sights on Moldova, Lithuania, Latvia, and Estonia for starters. That's my prediction.
