Scrambled Eggs with Mixed Exotic Mushrooms on Toasted Brioche

A wonderful morning today. Shelley is home on a compressed work day and I do not start work until later on this afternoon.
Keeping up with the theme of using up some of what we have on hand here at home, breakfast this morning was going to be an easy one.
I had some left over brioche that I made toast with. One slice each for the main breakfast dish, and the other was served on the side with some home-made Pineridge Strawberry Jam (Shelley helped pick the berries that went in to making this jam).
The eggs were scrambled up Gordon Ramsay style, and they were placed on top of wild exotic mushrooms that were fried up in butter on the stove. Just a hint of salt and pepper to taste. Here's a video of Gordon Ramsay cooking up some scrambled eggs...I like little miscalculation in the middle of the video....shows he's human just like us!
The flavour of the mushrooms added a nice punch to the eggs and melted cheese. The brioche was really tasty as a nice base to all of this. Of course, there was coffee for me and tea for Shelley to have on the side.
Now you can make this dish for your significant other and let me know how it worked for you!!
